TREMA was created to harness the strength of our Tribal risk and emergency service providers. Providing assistance and establishing partnerships before, during and after a disaster has occurred in Indian country. Federal/State relief agency resources are often overwhelmed and understaffed during a large scale catastrophic event. TREMA's objective is for Tribes to take control and develop the resources necessary to ensure the safety and health of our Native communities.
